Each Spring all Vermont students in grades 3-8 and grade 11 are required to take state assessments which include SMARTER Balanced Assessment (SBAC) in English/Language Arts and Math in grades 3-8 and grade 11 and the Science NECAP in grades 4, 8 and 11.
